Sarah Baartman District Municipality invites bids from suitably experience service providers for the Provision of Licensing, Maintenance Support of Mimecast Cloud Email Security and Threat Protection (or Equivalent) for a 3-year period. Prospective bidders must be certified by Mimecast and must submit Mimecast (or equivalent) Partnership Reseller Certification. Failure to submit proof of the certification will result in disqualification. The certification must be in the name of the bidder.

The qualifying bids will be evaluated on a 80/20 preference points system, as per the Preferential Procurement Regulations, 2022, where a maximum of 80 points will be allocated for price and a maximum of 20 points will be allocated for specific goals. The bids will also be evaluated on functionality. Bidders that do not obtain a minimum score of 70% on functionality criteria will be excluded from further evaluation.

Functionality will be assessed as follows:

Failure to attend will result in the disqualification of the bid. No Bidders will be allowed in the briefing session after 11h20 or 20 minutes after commencement of the briefing session.
